![]() I own 2 Contact Point Border Collies. A Black Tri female named Flirt (Sue x Spin '01) and a Blue Merle male named Hawk (Nell x Quiver '05). Flirt is an amazing girl that seems to learn by osmosis and excels at what ever she tries. She has many flyball titles and a few in agility. My knees have prevented me from doing agility the past few years or she would have more I'm sure, she loves it. She is the friendliest dog ever and wants to say hello to everyone she sees and give them her signature WOOOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOOO! Hawk is also doing flyball in a big way. Everything he does is big and full blast but correct. He also excels in Obedience and his commands are taken crisply and fast. Very flashy working dog. He's a snuggle bug and my neck is his favorite place to put his head. He is playful but gentle with Flirt and they do love each other. She bosses him around a bit but just to let him know who's boss. I am retired and live alone but they make my life whole. I love them both dearly and would never hesitate to get another CPBC. They are awesome!! Marge Henderson, St. George, UT |

![]() Hi, my name is Kelsey Kirkpatrick and I have the pleasure of owning a Contact Point Border Collie. Contact Point's Aced It! or Ace (Fame/Clue 06) is everything I have ever dreamed of in a Border Collie. I had told Karen I was looking for a high drive agility dog and she said Ace would be that dog and boy did she nail that on the head. Ace currently competes in AKC and NADAC and will soon be doing USDAA. I'm amazed daily at Ace's speed and drive for the game of agility. Ace can easily run a 6.5+ YPS course. Ace is a speed demon. When Ace isn't running he enjoys watching other dogs run and goes crazy when fast Border Collies run. Ace is my heart dog, he's so fast and very fun to run. When Ace and I walk into the ring the whole barn gets quiet. Ace is known as the "Red Blur" around here and boy does he live up to that name. Ace is a very smart dog it takes him about 3 minutes to learn something new and he's got it down. Ace is an awesome house dog, I usually always have a ball in my lap and Ace looking at me like come on mom throw it. Ace also has an off switch and loves to sleep. One min Ace can be sleeping and the next be running agility. Ace also loves to give people hugs and meeting new dogs. People have told me Ace would be a great herding dog so in the near future we may take up herding. I can't thank Karen enough for letting me have this incredible red dog. My next Border Collie will definitely be another CPBC. You can't go wrong with Contact Point! Love, Kelsey Kirkpatrick and Ace (Fame/Clue 06) |

![]() A tribute to Meg, the best dog in the world (except don't tell my other dogs!)... I contacted Karen about a puppy because a friend of mine owns Perri, one of the earlier CPBC's. I thought she was the coolest dog. So when I decided it was time to get a puppy bred for performance to be my next flyball dog, I decided to talk to Karen. At that time she had one puppy from her last litter that didn't end up going to the person who had originally bought her. She sent me her photo and also let me know that she had two litters due in the next couple months. When I got the photo of the puppy, I fell in love! I know you shouldn't buy a puppy on looks, but I didn't really know anything about body types or stuff, so I trusted that this puppy would be a good puppy for me and for playing flyball because Karen told me she should be. A couple weeks later Megawatt came home and my life hasn't been the same since. Not only is this dog turning into an awesome flyball dog, but I didn't know I could love a dog as much as I love her. There is just something special about these CPBC's that goes beyond performance. I love all my dogs, but Meg is the dog of my heart, that once in a lifetime soul mate. Everyone who meets her can't help but comment on her stunning good looks, but also what a nice girl she is! I can't thank Karen enough for letting me bring her into my home and my life! Love, Jenny and Meg (Fleet x Mike - September 06) |

After researching various breeds to do agility with, in January 2002, I decided to ask Karen Moureaux if she knew where I could get a Border Collie. Mind you it was intimidating approaching her because I knew she was one of the pioneers of dog agility in the United States and had represented the U.S. in International Agility competition FOUR times. Contact Point's Mister Magoo came to live with me in January of 2002. He was my second dog ever, and first Border Collie. Karen hardly knew me, but obviously knew Mister Magoo's easy going temperament would work out just fine with me as a newbie in Agility. I later found out she did check up on me and how much I knew about dogs and training and if I would be a good match for one of her dogs. Mister Magoo and I have travelled a lot to shows, seminars and the like. He loves his crate although he would rather be at my side. He knows I'm the boss and obeys well. He is so biddable. Contact Point's Whimsy came to live with us in 2003. I bought her because she was OFA Excellent and had the sweetest temperament I had ever seen. She loves people and knows how to deal with all new dogs she meets. She, like Mister Magoo, leans new things very fast and obeys well. Both have achieved the USDAA ADCH title of which I am so proud of them. They run the best they can for me no matter how hard the course, the distance we travel in the car, hotels, crates, conditions. I love them a lot and would bat an eye in getting another. Steve Yue, Mister Magoo (Disney x Spin 2000) & Whimsy (Sue x Spin 2001) |

When I was looking for a Border Collie, I wanted a high-drive puppy who would make a wonderful agility partner and pet. While Zing does exhibit these qualities, he is so much more than that. Zing is completely in tune with me. He's perfectly content sitting in my lap, or ready for agility with his toy. Zing continually amazes me in agility. At 26 months, he's earned his MXJ with all first places, and only needs one leg for his MX. I can't explain how much he means to me; I am truly lucky that Karen bred such a well-rounded, handsome boy. I am looking forward to another CP Border Collie in the future.
